  • Eating a more plant-based diet or meat substitute
  • Starting the conversation about climate change with friends and family
  • Driving less or consider using an electric vehicle
  • Walking, cycling or taking transit
  • Planting trees
  • Growing or sourcing local food
  • Planting a rain garden
  • Hanging clothes to dry
  • Conserving more and wasting less
  • Replacing light bulbs with energy-efficient bulbs
  • Clearing storm drains of blockages

Earth Days 2022 furthers the actions set out in the City’s Climate Change Action Plan by educating residents about climate change action. The plan includes 21 key actions to be implemented by 2030, including meaningful engagement opportunities for residents.
