A CLEANER COMMUNITY THANKS TO YOU!

Community clean-ups are an important part of Earth Week. Each year, thousands of volunteers pitch in to quickly clean up a winter’s worth of debris. I’m so impressed with the City staff volunteers who really like to pitch in! As Acting Mayor, I lead a small army of volunteers who cleaned up a tonne of garbage around the City Centre. This annual volunteer effort saves hundreds of thousands of dollars in potential tax increases.
