Opening the new energy from waste plant	I use my scooter to save fuel and reduce emissions
I’m an avid promoter of “green living” and I do my best to share useful information with you, as well as help the City reduce energy consumption. We’ve reduced our fleet size, added hybrid vehicles, cleaner diesel buses and even use waste gas from the Britannia Landfill site to generate hydro. I use a new highly efficient scooter for local commuting!
These older buses are being replaced with 55 cleaner operating units Back to Photo Gallery Selection	BraeBen Opening - from garbage to golf! Underneath the surface, gas is collected to generate green electricity.
