Let’s Play In The Park 2018 Program – Neebin Park
If you and your kids are looking to get out and get active in our community this summer, be sure to bring your kids to “Let’s Play in the Park” which is a free, half day drop in play program for children 6-12 yrs. This supervised program is operated by qualified leaders trained in the HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development. Children participate in physical activities like cooperative games, sport, arts and crafts in our parks across Mississauga.
With only 5% of children meeting the Canadian Physical Activity Guidelines of 60 minutes of physical activity every day, play is one of the easiest, most affordable and fun ways for children to get moving. The City of Mississauga is committed to supporting the benefits of play through this free playground program.
This program will be offered in Ward 11 again this summer at Neebin Park (635 Kaiser Dr.) from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm July 2-August 31. For more program and location information, visit www.mississauga.ca/play. I hope you and your kids are able to get out and play this summer!
