
- As of Saturday, October 10, for at least 28 days in Peel, the Ontario government announced the closure of:
- Indoor food and drink service in restaurants, bars, nightclubs and food courts in malls
- Indoor gyms and fitness centres
- Casinos, bingo halls and other gaming establishments
- Indoor cinemas
- Performing arts centres and venues
- Spectator areas in racing venues
- Interactive exhibits or exhibits with high risk of personal contact, such as museums, galleries, zoos, science centres, and landmarks
- Prohibiting personal care services where face coverings must be removed for the service (e.g. makeup application, beard trimming)
Additional restrictions include:
- Limits for all social gatherings and organized public events
- Reduced capacity limits for real estate open houses and guided tours
- Team sports limited to training sessions (no games or scrimmages)
- Limit trips outside of home to essential reasons like work, school, grocery shopping, and medical appointments.
